What airports does SpotterAlert cover?
Heathrow (LHR), Gatwick (LGW), Manchester (MAN), Birmingham (BHX), Stansted (STN), Luton (LTN), Edinburgh (EDI), Bristol (BRS), Glasgow (GLA), and Belfast (BFS).
How does the alert system work?
Our engine scans flight data every 2 minutes. When a tracked special livery aircraft is detected inbound to one of your chosen airports, you get an instant Telegram message with registration, livery name, ETA, and a photo.
Is SpotterAlert free to use?
Yes — SpotterAlert is currently free during our beta period. We plan to introduce premium tiers with additional features, but core alerts will always remain accessible.
What types of aircraft does SpotterAlert track?
Special liveries, retro schemes, government aircraft, alliance liveries (OneWorld, Star Alliance, SkyTeam), sticker liveries, and rare visitors. Toggle each category on or off in your settings.
Do I need a Telegram account?
Yes, alerts are delivered via Telegram. It's free and takes under a minute to set up. Once you sign up, you'll be guided through connecting your Telegram account.
Can I control when I receive alerts?
Set a custom notification window so you only get alerted when you're available. You can also pause alerts or enable Force Mode to stay notified outside your window.
